History
Camp Connect was created by Elizabeth Marshall in 2016 which opened at Westminster United Church in Thamesford for summer of 2017. We are so excited to partner with Knox United Church to share Camp Connect with the Embro community!

Vacation Bible School open sessions is an open group story time and discussion about helping others and being kind. We also do age appropriate team building activities, games, songs & dancing! It is all based our three values: love, kindness and respect!

Super Hero HQ **WAIT LIST ONLY**
Up, up and away! Join us for a week of superhero-themed games and activities as we sleuth around in our famous spy hallway, use our superhero skills to crack codes, and work together to overcome some tricky obstacles!

Master Chef **WAIT LIST ONLY**
We’re heading to the kitchen for some fun as we bake, cook and most importantly, test-test! Prepare for a week as we learn some kitchen skills and try new recipes. Let’s have some fun with food!

Camp Connect’s most popular week four years in a row at our Thamesford location! There will be loads of opportunities to create and explore through many STEAM activities. Have you heard about our GIANT bucket of Lego? You will this week!

This week is full of high-energy sports and games to play all week! We’re getting active with lots of basketball, soccer, dodgeball, fitness, baseball, and some of our favourite camp-wide games!

Everything Art **WAIT LIST ONLY**
Unleash your creativity with ‘Everything Art’! This week will help us find our own self-expression and artistic skills through painting, drawing, music, dance, fashion, and theatre!

Winter? Let it go! Just imagine how much cooler we’ll be in summer! It’s time to wake up your Sleeping Beauty & get your Beasts out of hibernation! Join us for a week of everything Disney!

Nature Explorers **WAIT LIST ONLY**
From the depths of the ocean to the tops of the tallest mountain, let’s go on an adventure to learn about nature! There is so much to discover all over this incredible earth from small and scaly to large and magnificent!
Field trip to: Twin Valley Nature Park*
Summer Scientists **WAIT LIST ONLY**
Welcome to the laboratory! We will conduct experiences, bust myths, and test theories as we become scientists. All you need is a sense of wonder & curiosity as we explore science!

Eligibility
Must be between the age of 4 - 11*
Financial Support
Through grants and generous donations, Camp Connect is able to provide financial assistance to help families give their children a camp experience. Anyone is welcome to apply. Please contact the Camp Director for more information (contact details below).
First time trying camp?
We’re so excited that you are able to start your camper's first camp experience with Camp Connect! Entering a new space, with new people, and new activities can often times bring many emotions for our youngest campers. Here are some tips for helping your camper feel comfortable.
Your Child's safety
is our #1 priority
- all staff are rigorously screened and pass a police check
- certified with Standard First Aid, CPR Level C and AED training
- completed the Swim Safe program with the Lifesaving Society
- specifically trained to provide a safe environment for your children
- staff to child ratios are above best practices with 1:12 in any age group
- swimming supervision is based on swim band colours according to age, swimming ability and pool requirements
- leadership (Director/Supervisor) are trained in ASIST for those experiencing mental health crisis
- Camp Connect follows all best practices set by the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014.
ELIGIBILITY
- be between 4 and 11 years old
- toilet on their own
Children must be able to use the toilet on their own without assistance.
