Please come out for Lunch Bunch on Tuesday, April 29th, 12 noon, at the Highland Restaurant in Embro.
Be prepared to have a laugh or two. Bring a friend and share the joy of getting together for lunch!
The Highland Restaurant accepts cash only however there is an ATM machine at the restaurant.

SOW A ROW
HERE WE GROW AGAIN!! Sow A Row 2025 is up and running from now to harvest in the autumn. Our 18th year of supporting Canadian Foodgrains Bank. Now more than ever, given America’s withdrawal from foreign aid, we need to help feed the hungry of our world. If a donation of $10 a row was made for the six months that we operate Sow A Row of food, that would be $60 towards the effort. A couple of $10 donations a month, and $120!! Every little bit helps, and currently, the federal government is matching donations 4 to 1, so our $10 becomes $40!!
During the month of The United Church of Canada's 100th Anniversary, there is a lot to CELEBRATE at Knox United Church!

UCC/Knox UC history with special music, BBQ & cake after the service
June 8 - Pentecost, celebrating Holy Communion, with special music & Presentation of 100th Anniversary Quilt made by Margaret Ball
Mass Choir Celebration, June 8, 7 PM
Let's Sing a Hundred Praises, an event celebrating the inaugural service of The United Church of Canada, featuring a mass choir of participants, including members of the KUC Choir!
Viewing of the National Centennial Service of Congregations from St. James United in Montreal

Outdoor Picnic
Mark your calendar for Tuesday, June 24th!
Lunch Bunch will be going on a adventure to Deep Purple Lavender Farm for an outdoor picnic lunch and shopping at the Deep Purple lavender farm store after lunch! 355548 35th Line, Embro
The Highland Restaurant in Embro will provide us a picnic lunch menu that we can select an item and pre-pay. I will keep you posted on the details of that the menu. The fee for the lavender farm picnic is $5 per person.

Community Spirit Walkers
Thursdays at 10:00am
Community Spirit Walkers meet at Knox United Church, Embro parking lot at 10AM on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month. Together we walk around the village & have great conversations.
If it's nice, we will go for a walk, and if it's not, we meet at Kintore Coffee Co and enjoy our conversation while sipping warm drinks!
Everyone is welcome! We'd love to have you join us.

Thursdays at 7:30pm
If you enjoy singing and music - this is for you! All are welcome to come and try out our choir practice on Thursday evenings from 7:30-8:30pm in the sanctuary.
